Granit Xhaka has broken the silence on rumours suggesting that he is preparing to become an Arsenal player this summer.
The Borussia Mönchengladbach skipper has been linked with a move to the Emirates stadium more than any player ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
Xhaka, who appears to be available for a fee in the region of £35-million, has reportedly spoken to the Gunners about a deal which could be worth £120,000-a-week.
However, the 23-year-old has remained tight-lipped about any talks of joining Arsenal, indirectly hinting that there could be a move on the cards.
“It is not just up to me what happens,” Xhaka told RP Online via the Daily Mail. “I can only say that I am enormously happy here and have a contract until 2020.
“So far, there is no offer. To be honest I’ve not thought about it in recent weeks. If an offer comes, we will sit down together and decide what happens. And if nothing comes, everything fits here at Borussia.”
