There could be a change in the Arsenal attack for the massive Premier League clash with Liverpool at the beginning of next month.
Arsene Wenger has seen his side struggle to find the net in recent weeks with Alexis Sanchez being heavily relied on for goals.
During that period, Danny Welbeck has been gradually working on improving his full fitness after returning from a nine-month injury lay-off.
The 26-year-old missed Monday’s FA Cup trip to Sutton United due to fears over potential injury through the non-league side’s artificial pitch.
However, Welbeck was back in action on Friday morning and looking as sharp as ever as the Gunners Under-23 team thrashed Chelsea’s youngsters 4-1.
The affair saw the former Manchester United star score from the penalty-spot to wrap up the comprehensive victory at London Colney.
It was also the first time Welbeck had managed to play for the entire 90 minutes of a game since returning from injury last month.
And here was his goal…
