Matteo Guendouzi sent out a message to another to teammate who is also not enjoying much playing time under Mikel Arteta after the manager’s decision to send him out on loan on Monday.

Guendouzi was one of the players who were brought to the Emirates stadium by former Arsenal boss Unai Emery as the Spaniard attempted to bolster the squad right after taking over from Arsene Wenger at the time.

Even though the French midfielder was an ever-present name on the team sheet under Emery, Guendouzi subsequently lost his place in the side following the appointment of Arteta.

On Monday, the Arsenal boss agreed to a deal for the 21-year-old to be sent out on loan to Hertha Berlin for remainder of the season.

Following his switch to the Bundesliga side, Mesut Ozil – another player who has been consistently left out of the side by Arteta – reached out to wish Guendouzi all the best.

And in response to that, the Frenchman broke his silence ever since move by labeling Ozil ‘one of the best’ in the midst of a tough period at the club for the ex-Real Madrid man.
