Arsene Wenger has made two more moves in the transfer market in an attempt to trim down his squad before the summer window closes within a week.
The Arsenal manager admitted following the defeat to Stoke City on Saturday that he was planning on letting go of a few players before considering any more new additions.
Several out-of-favour first team stars who were expected to be offloaded much earlier in the summer are still on the club’s books, two weeks into the new season.
However, on Monday, Arsenal finally confirmed that Carl Jenkinson had been sent out on loan to Birmingham City along with Cohen Bramall.
The move comes after Gabriel was sold to Valencia in a £10 million deal ahead of last weekend.
