Reports are indicating that Arsenal have joined Manchester United and Tottenham in keeping tabs on Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal.

The Morocco international is enjoying an impressive campaign in Ligue 1 after scoring 11 goals and racking up four assists in 27 league games thus far.

According to various rumours, Arsenal scouts were present at Parc des Princes on Saturday night to watch the 22-year-old feature for Lille against Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de la Ligue final.

Boufal’s intricate and skillful style of play has seen him compared to Leicester City play-maker and PFA Player of the Year, Riyad Mahrez.

The youngster, who is valued at £23million by his club, secured a switch from Angers to Lille for £3million in January last year.

With the likes of Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain and Joel Campbell linked with a departure while Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta see out their contracts, Arsenal are every likely to be in the market for more than one midfielder this summer.
