Arsenal are currently evaluating a South American prospect who could one day prove to be the heir to Alexis Sanchez’s throne. 

The Chilean international has been in sensational form for the Gunners this seaosn, racking up 17 goals in all competitions as speculation over his uncertain future continues.

With the club always in search of the best attacking players across the globe, Marcelo Allende, another winger from Chile, has been taken on a trial in north London.

The 17-year-old is a highly-rated prospect in South America who received plaudits for his inspiring displays for Chile during the Under-17 World Cup in 2015.

Allende’s attributes, which are very similar to his countryman and Arsenal’s star forward, has seen him dubbed the ‘new Sanchez’ back in his homeland.

According to Football.London, the teenager, who has been at Arsenal twice since last year, is now set to complete his third trial at the club.
