‘He is literally a nothing player’ – Fans attack Arsenal star after performance vs Manchester City
Gooners along with fans of rival clubs teamed up to bash one of Arsenal’s defenders following Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Manchester City.
After losing four of the last five games in the Premier League ahead of this weekend, very little was expected from Arsene Wenger’s men heading into the clash.
However, goals from Theo Walcott and Shkodran Mustafi canceled out City’s lead twice to secure a share of the spoils for the home side.
Once again, the Gunners’ defence failed to keep a clean sheet as Pep Guardiola’s side took only five minutes to take the lead through Leroy Sane.
The German youngster managed to brush aside the challenge of Hector Bellerin before beating David Ospina with ease.
And that moment, along with a few defensive lapses, have seen Arsenal’s right-back receive some criticism on social media for his performance.
We need another RB in the summer, not to replace Bellerin but to make him feel like he has some competition, he's got it too easy.
