Laurent Koscielny has received more praise for his form at centre-back at Arsenal in recent seasons.

The 29-year-old is representing his country at another major tournament this summer as France looks to secure the European championship on home soil again.

Since moving to England from Lorient in 2010, Koscielny has cemented a role as one of the key players in Arsene Wenger’s team, scoring in the 3-2 win over Hull City in the 2014 FA Cup final.

The French defender’s form despite Arsenal’s failure to win the title last season has attracted more suitors around Europe and West Ham boss Slaven Bilic admits he is one of them.

“Koscielny is one of the best centre backs in the league and maybe even Europe” Billic said during ITV’s broadcast of France’s 2-1 win over Romania
