Former Arsenal attacker Robert Pires has picked out Aston Villa’s star man Jack Grealish as a player who could be pursued by the Gunners in the near future.

In what turned out to be his final transfer window at the club, Unai Emery broke the Gunners’ transfer record through the signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.

Following the exit of the Spaniard, Mikel Arteta has taken charge at the Emirates stadium and he will be expected do his own shopping in the transfer market this summer.

One player who appears to be on the radar of most of England’s big clubs is Aston Villa star Jack Grealish, having helped his side secure promotion to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old, who is only earning £50,000-a-week wages (according to the Sun), will still have a bright future ahead of him regardless of whether Villa are relegated this season or not.

Thus, former Gunner Robert Pires has picked out the promising attacker as a player who could be chased by Arsenal, due to his immense potential.

“I love watching him play because he reminds me of Dennis Bergkamp,” Pires said, as per the Mirror.

“He has great vision, he isn’t a selfish player because he always wants to do what is best for the team, and I think he has a great future.

“I think Grealish is a player who would interest a lot of top clubs, like United, Chelsea and Arsenal,”
