Piers Morgan has endorsed the man whom he believes should be the captain of Arsenal, following the appointment of Granit Xhaka recently.

The Gunners went through several skippers during last season but the exits of Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech in the summer meant Unai Emery had to choose someone new to take over the role of team leader.

Arsenal have had a few controversial captains in recent years but the appointment of Granit Xhaka appeared to be greeted by the highest amount of dissaproval ever from the Arsenal faithful.

Following the frustrating show from the team at Old Trafford, there was a clear reminder for many that the Gunners are still probably in need of a real skipper.

Some fans have revealed their suggestions about whom they believe the actual Arsenal captain should be and after someone nominated Matteo Guendouzi as the best choice for the Gunners’ next skipper, Piers Morgan swiftly agreed.
