‘He should not start at all’ – Some fans want this Arsenal star out of the team after 1-0 loss

Several Arsenal fans took to social media to lash out at one of the players who featured in the attack against Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.

Arsenal were under some pressure to win in order to move back into third place after the results from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur last Wednesday.

Unai Emery chose to make a number of changes to his starting eleven and one of them saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan return to the team at Goodison Park.

The former Manchester United star has turned out to be a very underwhelming replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who chose to move to Old Trafford during the January transfer window last year in a controversial swap deal.

Even though the Armenian star somehow managed to complete the full match on Sunday, the fans let him know his display was poor.

If it’s true Mkhitaryan is on £200k a week I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player give less value for money.

Always appreciate his industriousness, but Mkhitaryan is past it. Incapable of playing btwn the lines like Emery needs. Very lucky to be on the pitch in the second half, they need an actual Ramsey replacement
