Arsenal have been boosted by the return to full fitness of one of the players who were recently sidelined by an injury.
Arsene Wenger’s men have had little to worry about on the pitch after going 10 games unbeaten since the opening day defeat to Liverpool.
However, there have been a few concerns as usual when it comes to injuries with at least four players currently ruled out of action.
After being forced off by a knee injury in the 3-0 win over Chelsea, Francis Coquelin was expected to miss several weeks if not months.
But following a surprisingly quick recovery, the Frenchman, who was back on the bench on Saturday, has declared himself completely ready to start games again.
“When you make these kinds of tackles, and this happened before against West Brom [last season], you are a bit scared,” he said. “It [tackle against Chelsea] was a similar tackle to then.
“The good thing was that I could run back on to the pitch afterwards, even if I couldn’t stay on for long. The scan which followed was all positive so that was great news.
“It took me a few weeks to get back to full fitness, but now I feel good.”
