Highlights: Arsenal 2-1 Huddersfield Town
Cesc Fabregas came off the bench to score the decisive winner from the penalty spot and hand 10-man Arsenal a 2-1 FA Cup victory over Huddersfield in their fourth round clash.
Arsene Wenger’s men advance to the last 16 despite not having it all their own way at Emirates Stadium on Saturday, with the lunchtime kick-off providing plenty of action.
The Gunners took the lead in the 22nd minute through a Peter Clarke own-goal, with the Terriers captain getting a foot to Nicklas Bendtner’s strike to knock it into his own net.
But Arsenal suffered a blow just minutes before half-time when Sebastien Squillaci was handed his marching orders by referee Mark Clattenburg for a dubious challenge on Jack Hunt, who was storming towards goal.
The home side’s troubles then went from bad to worse after the restart as Alan Lee levelled for the visitors, flicking in a terrific header off an Anthony Pilkington corner.
But star man Fabregas salvaged the afternoon for the Gunners after Jamie McCombe brought down Bendtner in the area, firing home from the spot to hand Arsenal a spot in the fifth round.

All things considered..not a bad month for the Arsenal with a win to close out the heaviest schedule the Gunners have had to face in 5 years!
Arshavin is working very hard, Bendtner is starting to score and Cesc is leading from the front. too bad Nasri has been sidelined as Rosicky is no Nasri but we’ll make do as we always have year in and year out. Its nice to have Diaby back and even Almunia did his bit today!
