One of Arsenal’s transfer targets is interested in moving to the Emirates stadium according to a claim by a journalist.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for several players once again as they look to revive their title challenge by strengthening through new signing during this month.

One of the host of stars who appears to be on Arsenal’s radar at the moment is highly-rated Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

A report from last week suggested that Arsene Wenger had even chosen to personally contact the 26-year-old over a potential move to north London.

And according to journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Pjanic, who joined Juventus from AS Roma in a $34 million deal only six months ago, is actually interested in a transfer to Arsenal even though it could take until the summer to happen.

“I don’t think something will happen in January.” Giulianelli was quoted as saying by the Daily Star

“He is really interested in going to Arsenal to test himself in the Premier League.

“But I think this could be a move about which they will talk again in June.

“If Arsene Wenger remains at Arsenal, he could become the replacement for Santi Cazorla at some point.”
