How will new signing Koscielny fare against Arsenal bully Didier Drogba?
Arsenal finally announced the signing of Loreient’s 6 ft centre-back Laurent Koscielny today but the big question is how he will do in the Premier League – especially against Arsenal bully Didier Drogba, a player whom even Thomas Vermaelen could not foil last season.
no one can stop drogba except for lucio who tamed like a dog
the only way to tame drogba is if you constantly hassle him,keep at him dont let him play his game,lucio must have tackled him a 100 times in the inter chelsea game and kept him to the odd pot shot,hopefully koscielny has the same style of defending
I am not sure – sounds like the lad has talent and a desire to want to succeed he just needs to develop his confidence but that will come in time – I wish him the best and am sure he will be a hit.
Hopefully he will tame him like the shrew.
He’s about 6’2 and has the same leap as vermaelen so when it comes to set pieces I think we might be good know
and if you look at his pictures he looks pretty strong and I think he can handle drogba but time witll tell what happens
Should have been the first qualification Wenger should have checked for. If he has any doubts, he shouldn’t have signed him.

His career here wont be determined by his game against Drogba(alone).There are 19 other teams and their strikers 2 stop.If along wit TV5, he can organize dat backline and give us some defensive stability, I’ll be happy.By the way, which PL defender can proudly say he has mastered stopping Drogba? Strenght,height,determination,courage and discipline is what it takes to cage D.D. So kosch can or will even stop him if he add up all this attribute.
Simple! You need to bully drogba instead, a no-nonsense approach when dealing with him, and not let him intimidate you – which he always did to Arsenal.
