‘I hope he gets injured & misses Euros’ – Twitter bashes Arsenal star for Sunderland show

It now appears that if most Arsenal fans had it their way, Theo Walcott would be saying goodbye to the club he has called home for the past ten years.

The 27-year-old’s form declined dramatically in the second-half of this season while Arsenal’s pursuit of the Premier League title collapsed.

Walcott, who is no longer a regular name in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven, reminded many on Sunday about why he has been demoted to the bench for several months as the Gunners were held to a 0-0 draw at Sunderland.

  1. Possibly the worst thing that could happen is he gets injured. I’d love for him to go, get a run in the team, rediscover his form and come back guns blazing or wanting to leave either or we’d get something good from it. A decent fee or a decent player.
If he gets injured he leaves on the cheap to potentially discover his talent elsewhere. That would be more annoying.
Or he could go to the Euros and be pants… but that’s football

  2. Walcott sh4t himself when Kaboul was going for the ball on Sunday. I’ve never seen such a coward in an Arsenal shirt. If he gets injured, it won’t be through tackling someone.
