‘I like everything about this player’ – Some fans react to message from Arsenal star
Some fans took to social media to react to a cryptic post from Mesut Ozil on Friday as the midfielder’s rough relationship with his manager continues.
The former Germany international is currently fit to play and has been training with the first team squad over the past couple of weeks but he was left out of the squad which played in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Ozil was often criticised last season for not delivering consistent display to justify the fact that he is now the highest paid player in the long history of the club.
The 30-year-old had been linked with an exit ever since Unai Emery started making the bold decision of leaving him out of the team earlier in the season.
After missing the clash with BATE Borisov, the German star posted another tweet and this time it was a cryptic one as he quoted Dennis Bergkamp in reference to his live for the club.
That saw him receive supportive reactions from most fans even though some were not too keen on showing any love for Ozil.
I like everything about this player.Would rather see the manager gone than see him not playing. There's no way a football genius like him should be benched.

We spent years asking for loyalty & players who love the club, yet some fans would rather bash Özil for a wage that was negotiated between the club & his agent, rather than repay the faith in him that he’s instilled in the club we love. Prove all the doubters wrong, Mesut.

Sorry Mesut but please don’t quote from the goat #dennisbergkamp 🐐to try and feel appreciated or for cheap likes! World Cup winner or not unless arsenal fans are 18 or under they would pick dennis over you every time!
