Arsenal legend Ian Wright has taken to Twitter to voice his disappointment following the 1-0 defeat against Stoke City on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger’s men were expected by many to see off the Potters who were thrashed in this same fixture last season when Olivier Giroud scored a brace.

However, Mark Hughes’ side rode their luck this weekend to secure a narrow victory courtesy of a goal from debutant Jese which came very early in the second half.

The result has left most fans frustrated, especially considering the fact that league leaders Manchester United have continued their perfect start to the new season.

And following the final whistle, Wright questioned how the Gunners managed to lose that game regardless of their bad luck on the day..
