Ian Wright has sent a warm message to the latest man to leave the Emirates stadium ahead of the transfer deadline.

The Gunners have said goodbye to a couple of players over the past two weeks with Gabriel and Kieran Gibbs leaving the club.

And the latest man to complete his departure is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who has signed for Liverpool after turning down a new contract at Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has agreed to join Jurgen Klopp’s side just when Arsene Wenger was eager to keep him in his starting eleven.

Nonetheless, former Gunner Ian Wright has applauded Oxlade-Chamberlain’s successful move on Twitter and wished him good luck.
