‘I’m gonna leave with Alexis’ – Arsenal fans react to 3-1 defeat to Liverpool
Arsenal succumbed to their fourth defeat in their last six games on Saturday and as expected, the fans are fuming.
Arsene Wenger’s men fell further behind in the race for a top four finish as Liverpool made up for their own defeat to Leicester City on Monday with a 3-1 win.
The Gunners manager’s decision to drop Alexis Sanchez from the starting line-up backfired as his side went into the half-time break 2-0 behind.
The Chilean superstar did make a difference after being introduced in the second-half, setting up Danny Welbeck’s goal.
However the damage had already been done as Georginio Wijnaldum finished off the contest with Liverpool’s third goal in injury time.
