Italian journalist claims player has ‘passed medical’ at Arsenal and agreed transfer move
Unai Emery has finally managed to add someone with experience to his first team squad, after a summer of little to no action in the transfer market thus far.
The Arsenal boss secured the signing of Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli two weeks ago, but a promising youngster with no experience was not the sort of addition that most fans had been hoping for all summer.
With his side still in need of a quality midfielder after the exit of Aaron Ramsey, Emery has finally made a successful move to secure the services of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid.
According to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, the 22-year-old has undergone a medical at Arsenal and sealed a season-long loan move to the Emirates stadium for next term.
With that being the case, Arsenal are expected to announce the arrival of Ceballos soon, even though the club was unable to include an ‘option to buy’ in the loan deal, according to Giulianelli.
