Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has a strong message for his teammates at Arsenal who often need a wake up call in order to turn up in big games.

Arsene Wenger’s men are set to host West Ham at home on Tuesday night in the quarter-final of the League Cup.

The clash with the Hammers represents a golden opportunity for the Gunners to edge closer to winning a competition which no other side managed by Wenger has been able to win during his long tenure as manager.

Most Arsenal players in recent years and this season in particular have been criticised for failing to rise up to the big occasions.

Thus, Wilshere took to Twitter on Monday to remind his teammates of what is at stake in the upcoming clash with West Ham whom they drew 0-0 with last week.
