John Obi Mikel….the new Arsenal DM?

Today’s topic is:
Is Mikel the man for Arsenal?
With the Gunners in dire need of defensive reinforcement, next January will be no time for another ‘Kim Kallstrom’.
There is a void to fill at centre-back but it is safe to assume that a defensive midfielder is the priority at Arsenal where Mathieu Flamini is the only senior player born to play in that position
With no positive developments in the pursuit of FC Porto’s William Carvalho and Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira, Arsene Wenger is bound to find one of his trademark cheap quick-fixes in the transfer market.
But is Chelsea’s John Obi Mikel – a man currently playing second-fiddle to Matic and Ramires in Jose Mourinho’s options – the defensive midfielder you would take at Arsenal?
And if you are concerned about the chances of Mourinho doing business with Arsenal, it is worth knowing that the last time the Portuguese sold a Chelsea player to the Gunners, it was another defensive midfielder in Lassana Diara.
Mikel to Arsenal – YES or NO?
Hmm
Michael Obi is not a defensive midfielder . He is naturally a very skillfull attacking midfielder who was errorneously converted by Mourinho in his former stint with Chelsea 8 yrs ago in the same mannner Wenger tried to convert Denilson Ateta Diaby etc.The Nigerian national team coaches are fully aware of this hence always they play him in the attacking midfield .They are right because the attacking midfield is truely Mils domain. His qualities is where he excels more than most plyers is a near perfect hold on the ball tenaciously not loosing it until he decides to make a pass. This makes him dangerous in the opponents 18yard box Infact even if he is kicked or pused while falling he still make a good pass .to a well placed to score centre foward .2ndly he has a good eye for a pass .He came 2nd to Messi in the 2005 under 21 world cup due to this qualities he scores goals if found in scoring positions. His draw back is his pace.Is he good for Arsenal? YES but not in DM

No he is not what we need right now
Mourinho cannot do any business with Wenger. Obi is not the kind of player Arsenal is looking for at the moment.
