Arsenal appear to have been handed a boost of some sort in regards to the fitness of Gabriel Martinelli after the forward’s injury scare which prevented him from finishing the game against Chelsea on Sunday.

Despite a promising start to his Arsenal career ywo seasons ago, a string of niggling injuries havr seen Gabirel Martinelli fail to cement a place in tge starting eleven.

The Brazilian youngster was handed a start on Sunday as the Gunners welcomed Chelsea to the Emirates stadium in another disappointing defeat for the side managed by Mikel Arteta.

With Arsenal’s already heading towards another 2-0 loss, Martinelli was forced off by what appeared to be an injury in the 79th minute of the game.

That injury scare has spiked fears over another spell on the sidelines for the youngster but Martinelli is deemed to have not suffered any serious blow.

According to ESPN-Brasil journalist Joao Castelo-Branco, the South American forward is doing just fine and his premature substitution was only because of a ‘cramp’.
