Journalist Romano claims Arsenal are ‘working to complete deal with agents’ to sign 24-year-old
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Gunners are now moving forward in the proposed deal for what would be the club’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
Unai Emery has already secured the services of Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballos so far, but the Arsenal boss has refused to end his transfer business there.
After the news of a deal for Nicolas Pepe being negotiated yesterday, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the club has now made further progress over an agreement to sign the Lille star.
The Italian journalist claims Arsenal are now working on completing Pepe’s agents’ side of the deal, the only remaining procedure after the transfer fee agreement with Lille was sealed on Saturday, as per BBC’s David Ornstein.
Arsenal are working to complete Pépé deal with player agents about his contract. Total agreement with Lille as said yesterday. ⚪️? #AFC #Arsenal #transfers #Pépé
