Twitter bashes Wenger after awful Bayern result
Arsene Wenger’s men went into the second-leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie with a mountain to climb after a heavy loss at the Allianz Arena three weeks ago.
And despite managing to score the opening goal on Tuesday courtesy of a thunderous strike from Theo Walcott, Arsenal surrendered to a defeat in the same fashion they did in Germany.
As a result, there has been more bashing for Wenger like never before on social media as the Frenchman’s future at the club continues to look doubtful.
This time, even fans of rival clubs are expressing their dissatisfaction with the current Gunners boss as his team’s performances continue to deteriorate.
Here were the tweets…
Hope I wake up to the news that #Wenger has decided to leave at the end of this season. Club is turning into a joke, we need change ???

Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have utterly embarrassed English football. A pathetic joke of an effort. They should be ashamed.

When Arsene goes home & is alone, sitting in the dark, thinking. He surely can't want this to continue, he had to be honest with himself

Wenger would have probably been sacked over 15 times if Abramovic was his boss
