Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has spoken on what the Arsenal dressing room has been about during the adversity of recent weeks.

The Gunners managed to win on Saturday as goals from Alexis Sanchez secured a 2-0 victory over Hull City.

However, that win came on the back of consecutive defeats to Watford and Chelsea which had severely damaged Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League title.

As a result, Arsene Wenger’s men are heading into another important week of football without the sort of form they are supposed to be in.

But Koscielny insists the team has been working on putting recent dissapointments behind them.

“We stay focused on our jobs [during times of adversity],” Koscielny said on Tuesday

“We stay tough. It’s important that we respond well together.

“We know that we have to keep going until the end of the season, even through the bad moments.

“We have a good squad and we responded well to the two defeats against Watford and Chelsea.

“At the weekend we didn’t play well, but the win was very important for our confidence. We can take that into the game against Bayern.”
