The Gunners will be donning new colours on their travels next season with the expected release of brand new away and third kits ahead of the 2015/16 campaign.
Puma’s work received mixed reviews after taking over from Nike as Arsenal’s shirt sponsors but the German brand could win some praises next year with the speculated designs below.
According to a source, this maroon shirt resembles what Arsenal’s third kit – made for European away matches – will look like next season.
If true, the colours of the third kit appears to have been inspired by that of Arsenal’s home kit during the final season at Highbury in 2005/06 and the away strip worn in the 2010/11 campaign.
However, the rumoured gold away kit below comes with a taint of photoshop about it and therefore the appearance has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
One certainty about ‘leaked’ images of an unreleased kit is that while they may not be completely accurate, the designs are often very similar to the final version.
For example, last year’s mock-up of Arsenal’s current home kit turned out to be quite similar to the actual shirt that Puma went on to release.
