Arsenal defender Stephan Lichtsteiner had some constructive criticism for the team after watching the disappointing 1-1 draw against Wolves at the Emirates stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Unai Emery’s side went into the clash with Wolves in the Premier League on the back of consecutive league draws against Crystal Palace and Liverpool, which came after eleven straight victories across all competitions.
Arsenal were handed the major blow of an injury to Danny Welbeck on Thursday night as the team went on to draw 0-0 against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.
And early into the game against Wolves on Sunday, the Gunners were handed more to worry about as Wolves scored the opening goal at the Emirates stadium.
Arsenal did manage to snatch a draw courtesy of a goal from substitute Henrikh Mkhitaryn who curled home an effort which was rather meant to be a cross.
One man who was not able to feature in Sunday’s game was new signing Stephan Lichtsteiner.
And after the match, the veteran defender, who won so many honours at Juventus, sent out a message to the rest of the team that a draw was not good enough.
