Massive boost for Arsenal as 26-year-old trains with squad ahead of Sunday’s game
Arsene Wenger certainly does not appear to have much to worry about on the injury front ahead this weekend’s fixture in the Premier League.
Arsenal have not been at their best for much of this season so far but their form has definitely improved in recent weeks.
What has remained a major concern for Wenger though, is the unreliable level of fitness for several key players with an important part of the campaign coming up.
Jack Wilshere, whose future at the club is still in serious doubt, has been struggling with niggling injuries this month.
The 26-year-old’s participation during the international break was cut short due to fitness concerns.
However, ahead of the clash with Stoke City on Sunday, assistant manager Steve Would has revealed Wilshere was able to train with the squad yesterday.
“Jack trained yesterday so he’s OK. Everybody else has come back as far as we’re aware.” the Arsenal midfielder said
“We’ll find out a bit more this morning, but Jack was OK yesterday.”
