The Gunners have been handed some good news on the injury front, heading into the international break.
Arsene Wenger’s men have attracted severe criticism in the past couple of months after losing four of their last five matches in the Premier League while bowing out of the Champions League to Bayern Munich.
Injuries have been a troubling issue once again for Arsenal and there was more bad news on Saturday as Alexis Sanchez was withdrawn after suffering what many feared to be a serious injury.
Following the 3-1 defeat against West Brom, Wenger claimed that the 28-year-old’s ankle was “in an absolutely terrible state”.
However, it now appears that Sanchez has managed to recover very quickly heading into this weekend’s international fixtures.
Indeed, according to respected journalist Ben Dinnery via El Grafico, a Chilean outlet, the former Barcelona star is actually in contention to represent his country in the upcoming games.
