Mesut Ozil has made a new statement in response to rumours that he will be changing his squad number for the 2017/18 season.
The Germany international began last seaosn in inspired form before enduring an underwhelming second half of the campaign partly due to fitness issues.
Apart from rumours which have suggested that he could join a new club, Ozil has been claimed to be considering a change of squad numbers to the no. 10 currently possessed by Jack Wilshere.
And the 28-year-old, who only has a year remaining on his Arsenal contract, has told journalist Giles Hardie that a decision will be made by the club over which number he will wear next season.
