Mesut Ozil has sent an emotional message to the Arsenal faithful after Saturday’s frustration at Vicarage road.

The Germany international has faced scrutiny for much of the season so far after refusing to extend his contract at the club.

Following a couple of weeks on the sidelines, Ozil made his return to action in the clash against Watfird.

But the midfielder’s second-half cameo did not go well as he missed a golden opportunity to score before the home side equalized through a penalty.

Interestingly, Ozil celebrated his 29th birthday after the defeat to the Hornets.

And even though he has been hit with strong criticism from some fans and pundits, Ozil took to Twitter to express is appreciation…
