Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is reportedly set to see his participation during the current international break come to an end and it remains unclear why that is the case.
The 29-year-old came into this season with a lot of speculation surrounding his future after turning down several opportunities to sign a new contract at the club.
Following the departure of Alexis Sanchez during the January transfer window though, Ozil finally decided to extend his deal at the Emirates stadium.
The former Real Madrid star was called up by Germany for the international break after improving his form in the last three games, after a forgettable couple of months.
However, it appears as though his national team duty will be cut short, following reports that he is set to be withdrawn from the German squad.
It remains unclear whether the midfielder is struggling with an injury or not but he is set to fly back to London any way.
