The latest Arsenal player to sign a new contract at the club has opened up about his decision to extend his career in north London.
New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been keen on rewarding a couple of players with new contracts before the start of the season.
Following new deals for the likes of Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Granit Xhaka, the club confirmed this week that Emile Smith Rowe had also put pen to paper on a contract extension as well.
And when asked about why he has agreed to commit his future to the club, Rowe, who has impressed in pre-season, revealed his reason.
“Knowing how Arsenal play and knowing the background of the club is something I really look up to.” the young midfielder said
“The new head coach really inspires me so hopefully I can get chances in the first team to prove how good I am.”
Unai Emery appears to have a fairly deep squad, heading into the 2018/19 season which will see his side compete in the Europa League once again.
