‘Monster class’, ‘Best in the league’: Some fans praised this Arsenal man after 1-0 win
Several Arsenal fans took to social media to heap praise on the man who was in goal for the Gunners on Saturday as they beat West Ham 1-0 at the Emirates stadium.
With only a place in the top four of the Premier League left to fight for, the Gunners welcomed West Ham to the Emirates stadium on Saturday, knowing that a win was required at all costs to keep their relatively faint hopes alive.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta kept faith in Bernd Leno in goal as expected, with the former Bundesliga star making a start for the first time since that disappointing evening against Olympiacos in the Europa League.
Leno produced a top performance which saw him deny a stubborn West Ham side on several occasions as a late strike from Alexandre Lacazette secured a very important 1-0 win for the hosts.
Thus, several fans took to Twitter to applaud the shot-stopper’s display on the day…

Every keeper makes mistakes. You can count on 1 hand the mistakes Leno has made since joining us, but you'll need about 15 pairs of hands to count games he's saved us in. Today was a routine day where he pulled off some top saves. Just gets highlighted more cause we won. pic.twitter.com/QzOM49Mor3
