It appears as though several Arsenal supporters were not pleased with the display from the man who was leading the team’s attack in the absence of Aubameyang on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta was hoping to see his side secure a rare win this weekend, after failing to keep hold of their lead in their previous Premier League fixture away to Crystal Palace.

In that 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park, the Gunners opened the scoring courtesy of a goal from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who was sent off later in the second half.

With the Gabon star being suspended for three games, Arteta decided to keep Alexandre Lacazette as his main frontman against a Sheffield United side who had one of the best defensive records in the league so far this season.

Even though Lacazette’s high work-rate has been lauded in recent weeks, the Frenchman is desperately short of goals and after being withdrawn in the second half of the game on Saturday, several fans took to Twitter to criticize him…
