Shkodran Mustafi has shared his joyous moment with Gary Neville after the 4-3 victory over Leicester City on Friday.
The Germany international was only named on the bench for Arsenal’s opening game of the season against the 2015/16 Premier League champions.
And the match proved to be a thriller for most neutrals as both teams traded blows in the first half before the Gunners scored two late goals after the restart to secure a memorable win.
Also in attendance at the Emirates stadium on Friday night was Gary Neville who was working as usual as a pundit for Sky Sports.
But the Manchester United hero could not hide his excitement at the final whistle after watching his old club’s fierce rivals begin the season with a win.
At least that’s what Mustafi is saying it looked like…
