The Gunners will be involved in another big clash at the Emirates stadium on Wednesday, only a couple of days after the largely undeserved defeat against London rivals Chelsea.
Arsenal are still in the midst of a very worrying period of results, having won just one match in the Premier League since early October, a run much worse than anything experienced under previous boss Arsene Wenger.
Following the appointment of Mikel Arteta, the Gunners have shown a renewed sense of passion but that has been enough to earn them only a point in their last two games against Bournemouth and Chelsea.
Arsenal will have to pick up some wins as soon as possible, to avoid slipping further down in the Premier League table and the task that awaits them, is having to beat a resurgent Manchester United side.
Having won their last two games, the Red Devils will come to the Emirates stadium with confidence and that is why Arteta has to name a starting eleven which is balanced and strong enough to withstand the visitors’ threat.
Maitland-Niles – Luiz – Mustafi – Saka
Guendouzi – Torreira – Willock
Pepe – Aubameyang – Ozil
