Several Arsenal fans took to Twitter to bash one of the players who featured in attack during Wednesday night’s 0-0 draw away to West Ham in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger’s men were expected to deliver a response at the London stadium after settling for a 1-1 draw at Southampton over the weekend.

However, another below-par performance in the final third saw Arsenal fail to hit the back of the net as they were held to a stalemate by David Moyes’ organised side.

It was a match which saw Olivier Giroud receive a very rare start in the Premier League after speaking to the media about his frustration over a lack of playing time after Sunday’s equaliser against Southampton.

But the France international had a night to forget on Wednesday and that has seen several fans suggest that his place on the bench for much of this season is actually justified.
