Arsenal were given the good news of a couple of players from the club winning awards on Friday ahead of the clash with Wolves in the Premier League.
The Gunners were left in worrying mood on Thursday as vital striker Danny Welbeck suffered a horrific injury blow while in action against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League.
However, there was something to cheer about on Friday morning as Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was named the Premier League Player of the month for October.
In addition to that, Aaron Ramsey picked up the award for ‘Goal of the month’ to make it a double swoop for Unai Emery’s side.
The Welsh midfielder, whose contract at the Emirates stadium is set to expire next summer, crowned a brilliant team move with a goal in the thumping win away at Fulham last month.
And in recognition of that fine strike at Craven Cottage, the Premier League has given Ramsey the award of ‘Goal of the month’.
