Arsene Wenger has expressed his frustration over the performance which his team produced on Monday night.

The Gunners conceded three unanswered goals to Sam Allardyce’s side to remain in sixth place.

Wenger’s future at the club has been thrown into more doubt after the result and the Frenchman has admitted that the group of players he kept faith in did not play at their best against Palace.

“I’m deeply disappointed because the performance we produced was not good enough,” Wenger said in his post-match interview

“We knew we had to win the game tonight [Monday]. Not only did we not score but as well we conceded three goals, so overall it’s a very disappointing performance.

“What disappointed me most was the fact that we lost decisive duels in zones where you cannot afford it. That was very disappointing.”
