Not Lemar: Arsenal move to sign forward as Wenger expands search for another attacking player
Reports are suggesting that Arsene Wenger has picked out another target to bolster his options in attack ahead of the new campaign.
The Arsenal manager has refused to rule out doing more business in the transfer market following the arrivals of Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
And even though AS Monaco’s Thomas Lemar has been deemed as Wenger’s main target, there seems to be another attacker on the Frenchman’s radar.
According to reports, Arsenal have now made an offer to sign young striker Yann Karamoh from Caen.
The promising striker, who helped the Ligue 1 side narrowly escape relegation last season after gaining promotion into the first team, is also being pursued by Premier League rivals Tottenham.
However, the report is indicating that Karamoh rather prefers a move to Inter Milan who have made a lower offer to secure his signature.
The Gunners are expected to offload the likes of Joel Campbell and Lucas Perez which could possibly create room in the first team squad for a new forward.
