Ozil starts, Lacazette dropped: 4-3-3 Arsenal predicted team vs Saints

The Gunners will be looking to bounce back from that frustrating 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday when they visit Southampton this week.
With Bernd Leno set to be sidelined for more than a month, Emiliano Martinez will now have a chance to feature in goal on a regular basis for the remainder of the season.
At left-back, Sead Kolasinac should be dropped following that flat performance over the weekend as Bukayo Saka – whose best moments this season have come as a full-back – shifts back into the defence.
With so many injuries to deal with, the centre back pairing will have to be between Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding while Maitland-Niles replaces Hector Bellerin at right back. Like Kolasinac, Bellerin needs some competition from the bench to up his game.
The central midfield duo should be Joe Willock and Matteo Guendouzi for now, due to the numerous injuries, with Mesut Ozil sitting in front of them in the line up. Ozil’s return will be to inject some creativity back into the team after Saturday’s shortage of goalscoring chances.
Thus, the front three should consist of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah. With Ozil back in the side, Lacazette – whose pace is not often on par with the remainder of the front three – should be the one dropping out.
PREDICTED TEAM
Martinez
M. Niles – Holding – Mustafi – Kolasinac
Guendouzi – Willock
