Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette had a message for the fans on social media after helping the team secure a 3-0 victory over Stoke City on Sunday.
The 26-year-old star agreed to join the Gunners from Olympique Lyonnais during last summer after a couple years of transfer speculation.
Lacazette made a relatively impressive start to his career in north London but he suffered a huge dip in form towards the second half of the season.
The former Ligue 1 star’s playing time became suddenly limited after the arrival of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang during the January transfer window.
Following a lengthy absence due to a serious knee injury he suffered back in February, the 26-year-old finally made his return on Sunday.
After being fouled in the box during the final stages of the match, the Frenchman stepped up to score his first goal in quite a while from 12 yards out.
And here was his reaction on Twitter…
