Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez appears to be back in the right mood at the club following the 5-2 victory over Everton on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was the team’s talisman without a doubt last season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions including the opening strike in the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
However, Sanchez has endured an underwhelming start to the new campaign after refusing to extend his contract at the club before a transfer to Manchester City fell through right before the window closed.
The former Barcelona star has also been dealing with the disappointment of Chile’s failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup which saw him miss the trip to Watford recently.
However, Sanchez returned to action on Sunday, putting his name on the scoresheet in the Premier League for the first this season through a classy strike in injury time.
As a result, the Chilean forward could not resist posting a positive image of himself on social media today…
