Another new Gunner posed for a snapshot with his teammate as the Arsenal squad flew out to Singapore for the pre-season tour over the weekend.

The Gunners will be looking to impress their new manager ahead of what will be the first season without Arsene Wenger in charge since 1995.

Unai Emery has done well to bring in a host of new faces after being appointed as the man to replace Wenger just over two months ago.

One of the Arsenal manager’s new additions is Sokratis Papastathopoulos, who agreed to move to the Emirates stadium from Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.

The 30-year-old is now preparing for his debut season in north London with the start of the campaign less than a month away.

Arsenal’s tour of Singapore will be an opportunity for several players to settle into the squad and new signing Sokratis appears to have built a bond with his countryman Konstantinos Mavropanos already.
