PICTURE: Arshavin and what should rather be his new teammates
Judging from the effort he gives on the pitch – which fails to make up for his size – it will be hard to spot the difference between Andrey Arshavin and little school boys.
Maybe the Russian’s level of dedication on the football pitch (invisible, lazy and not ready to get stuck in) will suit a junior league side rather than the Premier League where Arsenal fans have had to deal with the sight of a disinterested man carrying a sofa in his shorts every week.

This is why I want Arshavin’s sweaty balls on my face
I really don’t understand things like this. For starters it is disrespectful but, even worse, it can only harm the team. What ever you think of Arshavin or Wenger or anyone else in the team, now is the time to support the team. Nothing is going to change before the summer and there is still a lot to play for. Don’t give in to the dispicable press who wants nothing more than an Arsenal collapse; sells newspapers. Be proud to be an Arsenal supporter!!
In deed it’s so dispicable
I agree with you 100%
Years ago players that are slacking would be reduced to the Reserves squad for a few weeks and if their performances do not improve – SOLD!
Today they are given a nice comfy seat, where they are only to happy to reside. {The BiG monies for doing nothing has firmly set in.}
Arshavin had the assist for both goals against Fulham and Swansea to RVP…
We need to support him to help him get back to his best..
The little man spends more time improving his web pages to keep up shirt sales and spend less time on improving his poor form.
randy I hate the success of Red London…u cunt
Look no one want Arsenal to succeed more than me and here is my immediate solution.
Wenger should have Stewart Robson alongside him on the bench. For tactical consultations. This I am sure will be a win, win situation all round.
Remember that Arshavin was our record signing so much more is expected of him, he has had enough time to discover his form now, enough excuses. He either delivers or sold.
Maltese Gunner
What a crappy pointless article! Write something good for a change.
Agreed the Russian has some issues on the pitch but this is not nice.
i still don’t understand what services Arsene Wenger requires from Arshavin. After all he costed Arsenal in many games and has even failed to rediscover his form. Otherwise, i don’t expect him in an Arsenal shirt sooner than later
We are not amused. What is the point of ridiculing the captain of his Country`s league champions and of his Country? It does nothing to encourage him to persevere in the unfamiliar role, to which his manager has mistakenly assigned him, it reflects badly on that manager`s reputaion and as suggested by john, it harms Arsenal. The last, being most probably the reason for it`s appearance. An attacker, misses a tackle – big deal! As it happened, there were other players on the field at that time – some of them are known as defenders – yes, you know the sort who might possibly have noticed that Valencia was a threat. I observed no mad rush to double bank the negating of the obvious danger. This is not to exonerate Arshavin but to suggest that he alone was at fault, is too glib. He has been honoured in England and elsewhere for his ability. Until he is given a run in as a forward playmaker with freedom to dictate play, we will have wasted a great talent. He is more Bergkamp than Adams so why not give him break?
THIS is just plain stupid.
but why all this …..for all who gudge arshavin go fuck your selfs.
