Picture: Boost for Arteta as injured Arsenal player is spotted in Friday’s training
Mikel Arteta has been boosted on the injury front during the mid-season break with one of his injured players making a very swift return to training on Friday.
The Gunners settled for another draw in the Premier League last weekend as a dull second half show at Turf Moor saw them draw 0-0 with Burnley, taking the team’s total of draws in the league this season to a whopping 13.
During the clash with the Clarets, Arsenal lost one of their key players as Bukayo Saka had to be replaced at the end of the first half because of an injury he was carrying.
Initial fears were that the 18-year-old was set for a spell on the sidelines but it now appears as though the versatile winger has made a quick return to training.
Saka was pictured in the first team training session held in Dubai on Friday and that is certainly a major boost for Arteta, who is currently without all of his left-back options.
Below is a picture from the Twitter account of Emiliano Martinez, showing that Saka was involved in training today…

The news of the youngster’s return has also been substantiated by well-known Arsenal youth blogger Jeorge Bird.
