Few will be surprised by this but Saturday’s man of the match from Selhurst Park was Wojciech Szczesny.

Arsenal’s No. 1 was at his best between the sticks on Saturday with a string of vital saves as the Gunners retained their place at the summit of the Premier League with a gritty 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
